Developed from a naturally occurring bacteria, Streptomyces sp. strain K61, LALSTOP® K61 WP is an EPA registered biological fungicide that is a preventative product that thrives in the rhizosphere for several weeks. When applied as a drench or spray, the dried spores and mycelium of the Streptomyces culture in LALSTOP K61 WP germinate and begin to grow on and around the plant root system. This creates a biological defense against seed and soil-borne pathogens.
LALSTOP K61 WP provides effective control on a wide range of pathogens which include:
- Damping-off caused by various fungi, such as Rhizoctonia solani
- Wilt and root diseases caused by Fusarium, Phytophthora and Pythium
4-hour re-entry (REI), 0-day pre-harvest interval (PHI), FRAC Group BM02.
